Phone Contracts class action Lawsuit For Wireless Phones?
Yesterday I went looking for a wireless phone and found it odd that at Wall mart and at Costco they did not have a legal contract or customer agreement that you could take home to read before you committed yourself to a 1 or 2 year phone plan. How can you asked to sign a legally binding contract or a customer agreement with out being able to take it home and study it in detail and still have that be a enforceable contract. It would seem to me that this is a class action just waiting to happen.
In discussions with friends we were talking about the credit cards and the ability that they have to change the contract anytime that they want and you are bound by law to it, or you have to cancel the card and pay off the amount in full. Well that seems like a pretty strong coercion's for you to keep the contract, even if you strongly disagree with the new language.
Maybe with a new administration with all of the lawyers that they will take a look at these legal practices and make some changes that are a little fairer to the little guy.
At Cheap Lawyers USA we encourage all to express their point o view.
