CCF settlement News

What is the status of this CCF suit? Did they get final approval on march 31 2008 if so what was it?

The official site has no news for over 6 months. I think they should have something on line on this so people will know where they stand on this.

If you have any news or opinions on the visa mastercard currency conversion fee lawsuit I would really like to hear about it as I believe that I am entitled to a fair bit of the settlement as I travel international all of the time and have visas stamps to prove it as well as credit card statements and bank statements.

I filled out the paperwork and feel that if you did to that you are entitled to a update.

Cheapest Bribes in Asia?

I spend allot of time in Asia and it is a givin that if you do that you are going to run into a cop somewhere that is going to have a hand out trying to get money from you. I used to say that I would like to help you but it is against the law in the US to pay bribes to government officials which as a police officer and a official of a foreign government you would be asking me to break a law in my own country.

Now I understand that giving the cop money might not necessarily qualify as a bribe if I am not trying to change his views with compensation, or if I am not being treated any differently than anyone else it would then be seen as a expedition fee. Myself I like to think of them as point of use tax's

I was taught that the only thing's that are guaranteed are tax's and death which if you don't pay to a hungry cop in Asia you might get to experience both at the same time.

So I now happily give my money to each and every cop in Asia that asks knowing that I am not breaking the law in spirit and in my own small way am paving the way for fairer and gentler corruption in foreign lands.

So what is the way to get the cheapest bribes and fees in Asia? Beats the hell out of me they got me twice in the same week here in paradise and they have the unmitigated audacity to give me a lecture to boot to make them selves feel better for being crooks.

Got any legal ideas or legal questions for a cheap attorney or want to have a legal rant send it on! We publish all that are somewhat intelligent and don't piss off people for being overtly rude becuase you never know who is reading.

Immiagration Fiancee Visas

US Fiancée Visas can be difficult as well as there are several ways that can disqualify someone and the reasons are not all on the person from outside of the US. The Patriot act included a provision for Mail Order brides if you will. If you have had more than one fiancé visa they can create a problem for subsequent applications for a fiancée visa from the person from the USA.

For the fiancée visas some of the things that the USCIS people and the US Embassy people are looking for is moral turpitude issues, so one needs to be careful about where you say that you meet. You could have meet in a bar legitimately and have them decline the application because they thing that she was a prostitute. Restaurants and cafes are also suspect. If she says that she worked as a masseuse this too will ring the bells and more times than not the application will be deigned, even if you can prove that it was a legitimate massage parlor, you are guilty more or less until you prove your innocence and until you prove innocent no fiance visa will be granted.
