Phone Contracts class action Lawsuit For Wireless Phones?

Yesterday I went looking for a wireless phone and found it odd that at Wall mart and at Costco they did not have a legal contract or customer agreement that you could take home to read before you committed yourself to a 1 or 2 year phone plan. How can you asked to sign a legally binding contract or a customer agreement with out being able to take it home and study it in detail and still have that be a enforceable contract. It would seem to me that this is a class action just waiting to happen.

In discussions with friends we were talking about the credit cards and the ability that they have to change the contract anytime that they want and you are bound by law to it, or you have to cancel the card and pay off the amount in full. Well that seems like a pretty strong coercion's for you to keep the contract, even if you strongly disagree with the new language.

Maybe with a new administration with all of the lawyers that they will take a look at these legal practices and make some changes that are a little fairer to the little guy.

At Cheap Lawyers USA we encourage all to express their point o view.

Cheap Lawyers Welcomes the New President

Well the president elect and the first lady are lawyers again. The last time we had this combination in the White House was only 8 years ago and for the USA for most of us those were some pretty good times which holds out hope that we can get back to the good days again.

We at Cheap Lawyers USA are looking forward to this new administration and are hoping that we will remember the new president in future history not so much for the fact that he is a man of color, but for the possibilities that having a strong mandate from the electorate with a dynamic new leader that he and we as a united nation again can effect some real changes of the likes not seen since FDR at the end of the great depression. We like hearing about rebuilding the infrastructure and making alternative energy a priority to reestablish the US as a leader in the world.

We have had the privilege of traveling abroad for most of the past 8 years and the frustration and now anger towards the USA that we are seeing driven by The 2 wars and the melt down of the global economy caused many in the world believe by the excess of Wall Street and the lack of constraints by the current administration. Many in the world have to be wondering what we were thinking when we allowed people to have mortgages with no money down and no real finical consequences if they defaulted. They also have to be wondering how we could continue driving gas guzzling SUV’s as if global warming was some theoretical problem that we might have to deal with in the future.

Do you think it is too early to start thinking about reelection ?

US Immiagration New Rules?

With the new president in the USA we can only hope that there will be a change in the immigration policies of the US.

Recently while talking to a USA Imigration lawyer I was informed that one of the proposals that we had suggested in the Cheap Lawyers blog has all ready come to pass apparently there is now provisions that if the parents are naturalized that the kids are automatically included.

We again would like to see where if a child under 7 comes into the USA and stays until they are legal age that they automatically receive US citizenship and all of the rights that come with it regardless of if the parents become us citizens or not.
